Reds

  • Norton holds the honor of being the official Missouri state grape. Originally discovered in 1835 near Richmond, VA., it took the world by storm, even winning a gold medal at the 1873 World’s Fair in Vienna.

    Luna Umbra’s Norton is a dry, red wine with bold, complex flavors. It features a rich combination of spice, vanilla, and chocolate notes layered with a hint of cherry.

    Pairs well with: Steak, Smoked Meat, Wild Game, Lamb, Spiced Cake, Dark Chocolate, Cherries and Blue Cheese.

  • Pronounced: sham-bor-san

    A French-American hybrid grape. Ours is a smooth, semi-dry, red wine which is medium-bodied and emits both fruity and earthy tannins, as well as a light, cherry aroma.

    Pairs well with: Tailgates, Bonfires, Pork Chops, Burgers, Short Ribs, Mushrooms, Brie, Walnuts, Cobbler and Chocolate.

  • Our Full Moon Red is a blend of four red Missouri grapes creating a full-bodied, balanced, semi-sweet wine with tones of berry.

    Pairs well with: Hamburgers, Pork, Chicken Thighs and Legs, Cobbler and Dark Chocolate.

  • Luna Umbra’s Ruby Red is a blend of three Missouri grapes that creates a light-bodied, sweet wine featuring a dance of fruity and berry overtones.

    Pairs well with: Chips, Meats, Gouda Cheese and Cake.

  • Super Pink Moon is a Rose’ wine made from the Pink Catawba Grape. It is a light, fruity, refreshing wine with a hint of Strawberry.

    Pairs well with: Absolutely Everything.

Whites

  • Pronounced: tra-men-et

    The Traminette is a hybrid grape that crosses German Gewurztraminer grapes with Seyve grapes.

    Luna Umbra’s Traminette is a dry, white wine that boasts a wonderful floral scent and a light citrus taste. Oh, and a hint of spice!

    Pairs well with: Chicken, Cream Sauce, Seafood (especially Salmon), Chili and Vanilla Cupcakes.

  • Pronounced: veen-yole

    Vignoles is a French-American hybrid white wine.

    Luna Umbra’s Vignoles is a semi-dry, citrusy-flavored wine sporting hints of pineapple and apricot. Our Vignoles has the appearance of sunshine!

    Pairs well with: Fresh Fruit, Mexican and Asian Chicken, Swiss Cheese, Crème Brûlée, and Cheesecake.

  • Moonlight White is a blend of three white Missouri grapes. It is light, fun, and refreshing with a hints of melon, apple and apricot.

    Pairs well with: Absolutely everything. Let’s Play!
